Aprn Hospitalist (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse)
Job Description:
Team of 3 mid levels -- Rotating schedule between hospital rounds and practivce rounds Signing off on scans, answering Q's from triage nurse, etc. - Typically round on known practice patients (vs new patients) Clinic attached to the hospital so will be based out of the clinic Supporting one doctor on call so about every 8 weeks -- differential offered for weekend shifts New affiliated hospital opening in August and will add into rotation -- 10min drive (mileage and travel time will be covered) Oncology experience highly preferred Well-rounded in different specialties -- Pulmonary exp, Hospital exp preferred Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Masters Degree in Nursing or post-masters nurse practitioner certificate program Current license/registration to practice in Florida, prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply Hold necessary certification from ANCC BLS certified 5
years of experience Valid Florida Driver License Must be able to pass a nicotine test in addition to drug test Ability to pass a FACIS Level 2 background check (indicates is a person had been sanctioned, includes reprimands, probation, exclusions, and debarments)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
