Depending on level of experience, candidates may be hired as Recreation Leader 1 or 11.
The purpose of the position is to organize, supervise, and lead student recreation activities and/or athletics programs.
Employees in this classification perform at entry staff level and are responsible for providing a safe recreational environment for the assigned community programs, summer camps, youth activities and/or special events provided by the city.
Employee works with independence and initiative within established policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as dictated by the nature of the program.
Must possess and maintain, or be able to obtain, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, & AED certifications.
This is a part-time position.
Recreation Leader 1 requires, in addition to above, (1) yr.
previous exp.
in childcare, day camp, youth recreation or camp program, within a similar recreational or educational environment starting at $14.
96 - $16.

Must possess a High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Recreation Leader II requires, in addition to above, (2) yrs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
