Regular Risk Description Duties and
Responsibilities:
Cleans offices, conference rooms, lavatories, lobby and break rooms; Mops tile and vacuums carpeted areas throughout the building; Cleans all mirrors throughout the building as necessary Disposes of all garbage in outside dumpster(s); Empties all wastebaskets and shredders throughout the building; Washes and sanitizes all lavatory floors, toilets and fixtures and ensures they are refreshed throughout the business day; Checks and replenishes toilet paper, hand tissue and soap dispensers as necessary; Checks building periodically for any minor maintenance repairs that may be needed and subsequently reports and tracks said repairs; Performs minor maintenance repairs/work orders at the direction of the Sheriff or his designee; Ensures cleaning materials and supplies are stored safely and in an orderly manner; Maintains and inventories any cleaning materials and supplies as needed; As requested, performs set up and clean up for special events, meetings, displays, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Selection Criteria:
Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; AND Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License; AND Two (2) years of full-time paid work experience in building cleaning.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Personal Characteristics:
Good knowledge of building cleaning equipment and practices; Good knowledge of building operations and simple building maintenance; ability to perform cleaning and minor maintenance tasks; dependability; good judgment and strict attention to detail.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
