As a Veterinary Assistant/Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients and supporting our veterinarians.

Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals - Perform various laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures - Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures - Take and develop X-rays - Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures - Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of animals - Maintain accurate medical records - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans - Assist with pet grooming, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming - Handle animals with care and ensure their safety and comfort
Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent experience - Previous experience working as a Veterinary Assistant/Technician preferred - Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices and procedures - Strong understanding of animal care, husbandry, and behavior - Proficiency in X-ray imaging techniques - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
