Financial Specialist
POSITION Overview:
Responsible for billing clients for fulfillment services and postage which includes:
reading and interpreting contracts, entering rates, billing information, verifying invoices, and making sure those invoices are paid.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

Prepare client invoices by entering all necessary transactions.
Verifies invoices for accuracy.
Maintains client rate files.
Prepares rate sheets for CPIs.
Enter new rates for CPIs and amendments.
Sets up rates and system records for new clients.
Makes collection call and/or sends emails to ensure invoices are paid.
Answers client or Account Manager's questions regarding invoices.
Requests postage money from clients as needed.
Reconcile G/L various postage general ledger accounts.
Supports reconciliation of cash received general ledger accounts.
Utilizes multiple operating systems.

EDUCATION/
Experience:
Two year vocational of technical degree in accounting or related area is required. Must have prior experience in Accounts Receivable. Stable work history is required.
ADDITIONAL
Experience:
Familiarity with contracts is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook:
testing will be conducted prior to the hiring process). Must be able to pay close attention to detail. Must be able to communicate efficiently in English. Must be able to prioritize workload/schedule.

Must have excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
